Leigh VellaDirector/Financial Adviser
Leigh has been a part of the financial services industry for over 20 years, having begun his career as a contracted adviser to an insurer in his early 20’s. After just 2 short years in the industry, he took the courageous step of launching his own business and has been Managing Director and Principal Adviser since 2001. Throughout his career, Leigh has assisted his clients to protect their wealth and assets and ultimately, their most precious asset, their families.
With a passion for wealth creation and retirement planning, and after being mentored by one of Australia’s leading financial planners, Leigh has diversified his skill set and now offers a financial planning service. Leigh endeavours to assist and guide his clients along their journey to achieve financial freedom. He takes the time to understand the individual needs of his clients, ensuring that they have the right plan and strategies in place in order to protect their wealth and families, and to create wealth for a prosperous retirement.
When he’s not on the job, Leigh enjoys keeping fit with various outdoor activities including downhill mountain biking, mountain climbing and hiking and he also plays touch football at a representative level. In his downtime, Leigh watches Supercross, Motocross and is a Rugby League supporter. Leigh also has a passion and interest for muscle cars and is an avid Holden fan.
Leah CruickshankPractice Manager
Leah started her career in the financial services industry with Leigh back in 2011 and spent the early years learning every aspect of the business. She is a vital part of the team, continually adapting to the ever-changing environment that the financial services industry presents us with.
Leah is our Practice Manager and currently works part-time since becoming a mother in late 2019. Her main duties include managing the office, preparing insurance advice documents and anything else that happens behind the scenes. Leah is always willing to assist her fellow colleagues and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
She has completed her Diploma of Financial Planning and also holds a Certificate III in Business Administration. Leah has a passion for ensuring all documents and templates are in top form and will often be the one to pick up on any grammar and spelling errors.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, whether it be at home on their acreage or exploring the beautiful national parks and beaches on offer in South East Queensland. They have two dogs, two alpacas and four chickens.
Sarah MahonyAdministration and Claims Manager
Sarah has been in the financial services industry for 8 years, beginning her career in Canberra where she developed her skills and knowledge of the industry. She relocated to Queensland for the unmatched lifestyle and started with Leigh and the team in early 2014.
Sarah is our Administration and Claims Manager. She will be your point of contact should you ever require to claim on your insurance policy. Sarah will keep on top of the progress of your claim and liaise with the insurer on your behalf. Sarah’s duties also include assisting with existing policy enquiries and managing insurance policy retention.
She has completed her Diploma in Financial Planning and is passionate and dedicated to assisting clients to achieve their goals.
Sarah loves spending her days with her beautiful little girl Blair, enjoying our lovely sunshine state.
Macy HarrisonAdviser Assistant
After graduating high school in 2018, Macy commenced a 12-month traineeship in Business Administration. Upon completion of her Certificate III, Macy was recruited into the Next Level Wealth team as a Junior Administration Assistant and has very quickly proven her ability to efficiently manage office administration tasks. Due to her desire to learn and grow her career, Macy has stepped up into the role of Adviser Assistant and is currently supporting our advisers to provide a high-quality service to our clients.
Macy is responsible for assisting our advisers with their day-to-day tasks including responding to client enquiries, taking and filing meeting notes, scheduling client appointments as well as providing training and mentoring to new staff. Partnering with the other members of our Administration Team, Macy makes sure that the practical administrative tasks of your insurance policies and financial plans are implemented as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
On the weekend, Macy enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family.
